‘Something like Gold,’ starring Sandra Okunzuwa and Kunle Remi, not only hit the big screen on September 29, 2023, but came in with a bang. Within its first three days, it had garnered N11.07 million, and within a week at the box office, it accumulated N18.75 million across the 56 showing locations nationwide.

The premier saw fellow big names coming out to support the cast in their new movie.

The story follows a bride whose life is flipped upside down when her fiancé stands her up on her wedding day and her father’s wealth is suddenly seized. With a new path in front of her, she must figure out how to navigate her life on her own and learn some hard lessons. Yet, ultimately, she soon finds the love she had been dreaming of all along.

Something Like Gold is still playing in theatres across the nation.
