On Sunday, September 24^th, the winner of the Golderbergs’ Ariya Omoluabi Music Talent Show was announced. Ayo Benson, also known as Ayo Benzi, won the competition and took home an N15 million album recording deal, an N15 million music distribution deal, and an N5 million video production deal, as well as his own cash prize of N10 million.

After auditions in major cities Abeokuta, Akure, Ibadan, and Lagos, 11 contestants went on to compete every Sunday night to win a prize many dreams of having the opportunity to receive. Interestingly enough, Benzi was eliminated prior to the 11 contestants being chosen. However, due to a wildcard entry, he was brought in, upping the competition to 12 contestants.

Originally a pizza clerk from Lagos, Benzi wowed judges and audiences along with 2^nd and 3^rd position winners Abosede and Lion Fuji. All three took the well-deserved top 3 spots and wowed judges and the audience.

Kunle Remi hosted the show weekly and had the honour of announcing the winner in the final episode of the show. We are all excited to see what comes from winner Ayo Benzi in the future.
